Summer time is here. So it is essential to keep yourself hydrated so as to avoid any troubles caused due to excessive heat. Same goes for kids. It is essential to invoke great habit of drinking water in Kids from an early stage. Apart from keeping the kids healthy, drinking water also stimulate proper functioning of the child’s body and also help to keep him safe from dehydration that could affect his mental or physical performance.

Use cups with attractive designs and patterns: Kids love something new and something interesting. So by using cups or glasses with designs or patterns like that of their favourite cartoon or something will encourage them to use that tumbler again and again which will eventually lead to more water intake.

Water during meals: It is important to drink water during meals as it will help your kid’s body to digest food with ease. And also, drinking water before meals also curs the hunger pangs that arise during odd hours.

Make drinking water fun: Anything turned into a fun game instantly catches a kid’s eye. Drinking water can also be turned into a fun game. Organize a competition of drinking water and watch for yourself your kid’s competitive side will take the lead in finishing that glass of water.

Always keep water bottles for your kids: When ever you take your kid in the playground, do not forget to carry a water bottle along with you. If you are not going, do not forget to give your child the bottle as he will definitely need that.
