-Take a full sheet of newspaper, if possible just find black and white words for a vintage look.
Fold the page in half from the middle of the page then turn the paper so that the fold is t the top and the paper is horizontal.
-Hold the top right and left corner of the paper towards each other, so that the corner can meet in the middle of the page. You will see a couple of remaining inches at the bottom.
-Just fold the top layer of the bottom edge.
-Turn the paper and fold the right and left outside edges towards the center of the hat. The size of the hat can get adjusted , so make the folds smaller and bigger depending on the head.
-Lastly, use some tape to make the hat more steadier and don’t forget to fold the remaining bottom edges.

Buy 3-4 pattern as per the combination you are imagining to portray and use a ruler to draw lines where you plan to cut. You can make 2 big or 4 small triangle flags from each sheet and then you can stapled then on to the wired ribbon. So that you can hang it easily.
