Let them make financial decisions on their own. No, we are not asking you to let them make it all by themselves, help them take one but let them feel free to at least think the way they want it to be. Say if you are giving them pocket money, tell them in advance that this 100 bucks is for whole a month and he’ll not be getting more. He surely will learn how to manage with whatever amount you are giving. Teach them to spend judiciously and not waste on things, useless but alluring. Teach them they don’t need everything their friends have or is showcased in a showroom.
Organizing
Your kids must be stuff savvy and before your kids it’s you who should be in order to keep the possessions organized. Teach them how to organize their closet, how to separate their good toys with damaged ones and donate them to one in need. Also you can teach them to organize their books and bags and bed and room. You can ask them to make different boxes for different stuffs, say like a memory box for some paintings and artwork they wanna save as a memory. Or say something like a souvenir box to keep safe mementos and letters and cards.
Maintenance and Repair
Once your kids have learnt taking care of their goods you can next teach them how to maintain the things which needs regular seen and maintenance. Include your kids in everyday household chores and also in keeping up the vehicle, help them to become more self reliant.
