Sibling rivalry is a very common thing found in every house. So not an individual but the entire species fight to survive. Darwin’s theory says it all, survival of the fittest. So now we can understand why do kids fight? They fight to prove the fitness.   1. Give space to the children if possible, 3 years apart. This will let one child go for independence and dependency on you will decrease. When you find that your one child has become very much independent. Then is the right time to let your another child spend some quality time with you.
  2. However, there are many times in our lives when you will find one child very easy to handle as compare to another. You need to be very neutral and never show any sign that the other child is your favorite.
  3. Parents will always be parent. It means that you should step out from your exhaustion and try to give you every child some personal time to yourself.
  4. Keep your child aware and make him understand that the new child is about to join the family and how he should take care of him and welcome him with a smile.
  5. Make your first child your friend. He will help you in with the shopping of toys, clothes and special food. If you let your elder child participate in the welcoming of the newborn, he will be more excited and will love the arrival of the newborn.
