Every woman desires to have a baby in her life. A baby brings joy, happiness, love and the deepest bond between the couple. However, With baby comes a huge bundle of responsibilities too.

As we all know, pre-mommyhood was only about you, your things, your needs- where you sailed out of the door with lipstick, keys and cellphone but after receiving the special and divine gift of god- Motherhood, your needs change into your baby’s need, your things change into your baby’s things and so on. Every parent before the birth of the baby plans about the things baby may need, routine of the baby, things they will do after the arrival of the new little member in the house. But what we forget is that there are lots more for a new parent to remember and decide. One of the most important and at the same time exciting challenges, is to step out of the house with baby. The most vital thing to remember is scheduling. Book your appointment keeping in mind your baby’s comfort and keep a count on how much time you will take to get ready with the baby. Budget ample of hours so that if some unexpected thing appears, like the diaper leaks just when you are ready to lock the door, in this case you have enough time to sort it out. Last but not the least don’t forget to cover your baby and dress the newborn in comfortable clothing. As doctors may ask you to undress the baby and at that time the cover will protect your baby.

Visiting Temple

As it will be crowded with some unfamiliar faces therefore it is very naturally that your baby may feel comfier and starts crying. The only solution to this situation is try to visit the temple just after your baby has taken a perfect nap because that’s the the time he/she will be in  good spirits and don’t forget to dress him/her in a comfortable cotton romper. Try to grab a seat next to another mom with a baby, so that your baby can relate and enjoy.

Shopping Grocery

Don’t forget to make a list before you leave; this will keep you focused and you can grab the things fast. If possible always park your car near shopping-cart corral and if your store offers a cart with built in infant seat, that will be safe to put your baby into it and if not than you can always try a a cute sling, this will help you to shop hands-free and you will be able to shop fast.

Planning a long car drive

long drivePlanning before hand is the best option with babies. Plot out your trip, manage to pull over every hour or so to check on baby. You must be aware of this, that, babies often converse with their toys in their own cute language, so try to keep toys near baby’s car seat, which will keep him busy. Pack milk, juices and baby food with diapers and baby’s clothes in a zippered bag in your car because you might need these things frequently during your drive. Music makes everyone's soul happy, so play some soft music which makes your little new member happy. Never every leave the baby alone in the car even for a second.
