1. Crib:
Your first big investment for soon-to-be-born twins would be on their crib. However, having twins does not necessarily requires you to buy two of them. The two infants will have no problem sharing the crib with one another, at least until they turn 6-7 months old. You could make the division by placing a rolled towel in between, or maybe buy a crib divider. Next, buy good quality crib mattresses (1 would not suffice), and at least half a dozen crib sheets.

2. Clothes:
Any number is not a large number when it comes to buying clothes for the baby. They will wet their pants, create a mess all the time; and trust us all of it would be endearing. Depending on your pocket you can decide how far you want to go in stocking up the wardrobe. Many or few, the following items will be needed-
- Onesies (newborn or preemie size)
- Bodysuits
- Pajamas/leggings
- Socks
- Bibs
- Thermals
- Broad neck or buttoned/zipped uppers
3. Diapers:
Stock them up. You’ll need so many of them. A general estimate for those having twins is 140-160 diapers a week, if you want them wrapped around the infants all day long. Make sure you buy premie size. Along with the diapers, you will need lotion and wipes and talcum. Also clean sheets to spread at the time of changing. Invest in a good quality diaper bag to stuff them all in.

4. Stroller:
Double Strollers are so cute and stylish. You can consider it as one of the most happening newborn baby accessories. Sad that not every one is fortunate enough to buy these, but when you have the chance make use of it. These come in 2 styles: one, in which the babies sit side by side; two, in which they sit one ahead of the other i.e., in file. There are portable strollers available too. Take time to choose the design and keep in mind the child’s, correction - children’s, comfort as well as your own convenience.
5. Bathing Essentials:
Bathing your twins will be one time consuming job. It could be a nice couple activity for the parents if you decide to bathe both infants together. Splashing water, playing with water bubbles- have a nice family time. You need to be careful of keeping extra supplies of each of the following items for bathing your twins:
- Soft towels
- Bath Toys
- Baby Nail Clippers
- Baby Lotion/Oil
- Diaper Rash Cream
- Baby Wash/Shampoo
- ...And maybe a cute little baby bath tub.

6. Feeding needs:
Your breast milk is the best feed for your cuties. So there’s not much of food items that you need to procure. However, to facilitate the feeding activity, get the following items-
- Twin nursing pillow
- Breast pump
- Milk storage container
- Baby bibs
And when you start bottle feed-
- Sterilizer
- Milk bottles
- Bottle Brush
- Formula Milk
